The Historical Museum of the City of Kraków

Design and Implementation of the Full Technical Infrastructure and Software for the Mechanical Theatre – a Robotic Electro-Pneumatic Exhibition Depicting the Legend of the Wawel Dragon at the Historical Museum of the City of Kraków, Located in the Underground of the Main Market Square.

The robotic exhibition, consisting of four movable puppets equipped with actuator mechanisms, reenacts the archetypal version of the Wawel Dragon legend. More than 80 PLC control channels manage the scenic mechanisms, synchronized with projections, delivering a breathtaking experience for the audience.

The Mechanical Theatre in the Underground Museum of the Kraków Main Market Square was developed between 2010 and 2011. Since then, the installation has been operating continuously to this day.
